For the third time, Herc Rentals has been recognized on the Best for Vets: Employers list by Military Times, a distinction that honors organizations committed to creating meaningful opportunities for veterans, transitioning service members and military families. This recognition reflects Herc Rentals’ dedication to supporting the military community through veteran hiring programs, career development initiatives and workplace policies that help veterans thrive in the equipment rental industry.
The Best for Vets: Employers program is widely regarded as one of the most comprehensive evaluations of veteran employment practices. Rankings are based on a voluntary survey that assesses companies on the policies, benefits and programs that matter most to transitioning service members and their families. This includes areas such as veteran recruitment, retention, professional development and support for reservists and National Guard members.
The 2025 rankings reflect an increase from employer submissions last year, underscoring sustained growth and momentum across sectors from defense and manufacturing to technology, healthcare and finance.
Herc Rentals fosters a culture of support through the Veterans Resource Network, an employee resource group dedicated to equipping the company’s military community with a supportive, veteran-ready environment by recognizing their immense value and fostering a work culture of growth, training and respect.
